Powerful RTX Machine. Go check out the full video review on this laptop by ‘Tech With Sean’ on youtube.

It has an amazing screen and keyboard, and the hardware is powerful enough to tear through new games. I dont know what people are complaining anout with the trackpad, its fine. Its not a macbook, but whatever. For the sound, make sure you goninto the THX app and disable spatial audio. Its louder on ‘stereo’.

Overall, it is an amazing buy for a thousand bucks.

Great value. Took a gamble on this as it was on sale for $1,100 and the specs were really untouchable for the price. The display is pretty impressive, brightness is on point, and viewing angle/ motion is perfect.
First time using a mechanical LAPTOP keyboard, it’s very nice. The RGB software is fine, though the RGBs are not very smooth in motion like my desktop keyboard (still get lots of compliments on it though.)
I applaud EVOO for not loading the laptop up with shovelware. The gaming performance is pretty darn good, though thermals may be a bit of an issue depending. The laptop is much thinner than competing gaming laptops so you do sacrifice some cooler potential, but the form factor is just fantastic.

Would fully recommend over HP Omen and Acer Predator for the keyboard alone.

Take a chance its a bargain. you will not find a better laptop for gaming near this price. 9th gen I7 RXT 2060 mechanical key board RGB 144hz display 1tb WD nvem 15 gig memory. I shopped and shopped than I read 2 good reviews I’m not a fan of RBG but have to have lit key board I don’t like the short cord. temps are fine my MSI burned my knee once this one hits 62 c on CPU and 57 c on GPU which is cooler than my MSI add a second Itb nvem with my old system on it and a 2tb seagate barracuda for storage, and corsair Vengeance 32 gig ram2x16 , its 2x faster than my msi i7 1060 GTX runs cooler and was less than I paid for it in 2017

Minor imperfections on a great machine. I would have given this laptop a 5-star review but for its squishy, inconsistent spacebar and a singular, dead pixel on the bottom-center of its screen. It’s a dead pixel, not a stuck pixel, so it probably won’t be going away. I’ve already given it a name (“Spotty”) and made my peace with it.
Everything else has met or exceeded my expectations. There was hardly any bloatware. I recommend this laptop overall.

The jury is still out, but so far I’m liking it. Hey, this laptop is everything that you would expect to pay a lot more for. NVME 1 GB drive, 16 gb DDR4 2667 ram, and the Intel 9th generation cpu just for starters. Of course, out of the box, I was not likeing the keyboard as the lettering on the keys is a dark grey om black keys, so you gotta use the RGB backlights for the keys, Wave mode is the best setting. Then I spent over 2 hours to get apps and updates installed. Windows 10 Home was version 1903, I updated to 1909. Got my Microsoft apps installed and installed Office 2019 Pro. This thing gets hot with fans in standard mode, and in gaming mode the fans are loud, but temperatures came down a bunch.

Just got mine yesterday and so far it’s been awesome! I use a 4k 60hz tv for my display and it runs perfectly. I have my desktop at 4k and I also run MOST games at 4k and it actually runs very good, you definitely lose the 144hz and more fps but it’s hardly noticeable if you want the best resolution and quality. It’s fast and so far I have had no major problems with it, I use a wireless keyboard and mouse so the noise from the keyboard is nonexistent. Now the downsides …. I was told THX sucks so I went with the Sound Blaster app which apparently doesn’t work at all so im basically stuck with basic sound which is fine because I rock a gaming headset anyways so the speakers don’t matter to me. *TAKE NOTE* Playing games gets this laptop SUPER HOT and somewhat loud fans, you definitely want to try undervolting the CPU and overclocking the GPU. I’m not tech savvy so I didn’t want to mess with that stuff that much. Other than that this laptop is amazing for the price. THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

Quality Laptop For A Walmart Price. Alright strap in because this is going to be a long review.
First off I would like to say that I upgraded to this laptop from a 5 year old MSI GE62 with an i7 and 960M. I had a lot of issues with that laptop and after that experience I decided to never buy MSI again. Off the top of my head the CPU temp’s would hit 90C and the keyboard would get extremely hot, it would bluescreen (crash) when playing CPU intensive games and overall was a pain for me to game with.
I decided to go with the EVOO 17″ because of the above problems and I am completely shocked with this laptop. I have had it for about two weeks now and it has consistently maintained temps below 80C no matter what game I am playing. The keyboard stays cool all the time because the fans actually pull air in from both the WASD area and num pad, and that is actually one of my favorite features. The 144hz display runs flawlessly and this laptop can run almost everything at above 60 frames with maximum settings. I have played GTA V, Planetside 2, Total War: Three Kingdoms, Apex Legends, and the Valorant beta with no problems whatsoever. In some FPS games obviously you will need to turn down graphics to medium and some to low if you want to consistently run above 144 but it is barely noticeable.
Battery Life on this laptop is great for a gaming computer, and I have had limited testing so far but when I have carried it around it seems to get about 3 hours off of a full charge with moderate use. I have not tested gaming on battery power but you can probably get at least an hour and a half out of it and I don’t think you’ll find a laptop that will do much better at this price point.
The size is excellent as well, my 15″ MSI would barely fit in my backpack so I was afraid that because this was a 17″ it would be slightly too big, but when directly comparing them this is actually the same size. It’s not as small as a Razer blade but this laptop is still pretty thin.
Now my only complaints about this laptop are that the screen can get dirty quickly, literally overnight in some cases. This is easily fixable if you just clean it when you need to but it is something to keep in mind.
The keyboard takes a little bit of getting used to, I’m not sure if this is because it is mechanical or the shape of the buttons but I am able to comfortably type for the most part now.
Finally because they incorporated the cooling into the sides of the laptop my mouse hand gets warm air blown onto it pretty much the entire time I’m gaming. This isn’t really that bad but it is something to know before you buy because I didn’t really think about it before. Honestly it is a good thing for me because my right hand would get cold when gaming on my old laptop and now it stays warm but not sweaty.

    TL;DR
This laptop is a fantastic deal if you get it on rollback and even at its full price. It has a premium feel and looks less “gamery” than most. It performs great, I haven’t had any problems, and I would definitely recommend it.

Best **** Laptop. Bought this in January for my son for his birthday. Laptop is a beast of a machine. By far the best laptop for your money. Have played apex, csgo, cod modern warfare, and valorant. Handles all of the above games with ease. The screen is vibrant and clear and the 144hz is buttery smooth. There ars a ton of ports that include a usb c, 2 mini display, hdmi, 3 u sb and ethernet. Wi-Fi card must be good because we get an average of 600mbps, which is more than we get wired with most of our other devices. Keyboard is the best keyboard I’ve ever used, not just on a laptop, ever period. Not sure about battery life, as we always have it plugged in when gaming. Laptop stays cool after hours of gaming. I actually prefer this laptop over my desktop that has a i5 7600k and a 1080. Very impressed with this Laptop, its well made, well put together, and the best **** Laptop you can buy for the money by far.
