Take performance to another level with the EVOO Gaming Laptop. It features the same 144Hz screen as the EVOO Gaming Laptop but kicks things into high gear with an 9th Gen Intel i7 CPU for even faster processing. Plus, 16GB of RAM makes the EVOO Gaming Laptop a true memory powerhouse. It also ups the ante on graphics with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti GPU. A 512GB SSD take storage up a notch to speed up load times.

The major specs outweigh the cons. Overall a great gaming laptop for the price. The GPU / CPU combo are recent and will ensure the ability to play the latest games probably 2-3 years from now. I upgraded from an HP Omen with a GTX 1060 6GB and 60hz screen. I bought this laptop to get a better GPU and experience the bright 144hz screen. It’s about 0.5 lbs. lighter than the Omen and the build quality is nice – the body is made from tactile plastic instead metal. Two cons: it gets very loud when the fans are running with a high-pitched whine. Also, the built-in speakers are terrible – suggest using either using bluetooth headphones or stand-alone speakers. Otherwise the screen and capabilities are excellent. Also, there are TWO NVME drive spots internally.

The combination of specs+price makes this deal unbeatable. The 144hz screen is absolutely gorgeous and runs buttery smooth with the I7-9750H+ GTX 1660Ti. This laptop sacrifices no performance for an extremely affordable price. The only slight downside about this laptop is that the fans tend to run a bit loud with a bit of a whiny pitch, but it’s very faint. This slightly louder noise is most likely due to the really thin and light chassis design which makes it super portable. The other slight negative is a mediocre to bad battery that can be upgraded. Overall, if you’re in the market for a gaming laptop with mid-high performance this is it.

Best Value 15″ Gaming Laptop. I’m highly impressed with both the EVOO and Motile laptop lines. I picked up both and have been nothing but happy with both models.

For the price, you cannot beat the value in this laptop. The screen is excellent and a smooth 144hz. The 1660Ti plays games at Max settings 1080p pretty easily. The SSD is fast enough, yet I have the ability to upgrade to an nvme if I want. 16GB Memory (Dual Channel) is also at a decent speed and spec. The trackpad is also pretty good, although I wish it was centered.

For web viewing and standard office work, the Motile is a better value choice, but the EVOO is a much nicer laptop and excellent for gaming. I only wish USB-C charging was a possible option (only for charging overnight instead of during play). Some driver updating software would be nice to have as well.

Overall, I’m extremely happy and I hope Walmart continues to offer quality laptop values like this.

Can’t Beat the Price. Bought this on a Black Friday Sale for $799, closest competitor with similar specs is $999 at Costco.
    Pros:
-1660Ti, Solid graphics card, unheard of at this price level.
-144hz refresh screen, looks great, still works in relatively high light levels.
-512gb SSD, with 1 more stick slot and 1 2.5″ slot
-16gb ram, usually lower at this price level, 16 is a sweet spot.

    Cons:
-Weak Battery (This can be upgraded by purchasing a larger battery that also takes up the 2.5″ HD slot.
-Loud fans when gaming (honestly this is to be expected, keeps is cool but sounds like a jet engine) Quiet when surfing and doing basic stuff tho, can’t even hear it.
-OK speakers at best. Thought THX would mean good speakers, but they’re cheap. Work but nothing impressive by any means.

OVERALL: Love this laptop for the price I paid for it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who isn’t comfortable working on their own computers. Support is next to none from EVOO at the moment, and replacement parts and fixes may be hard to come by in the future if you can’t do it yourself. If you put another $100-$200 into this with some upgraded parts, it legitimately gives you a $1800 laptop for half the price. Loving it.

Can it be true? Honestly, this thing has wide implications for driving down the cost of hardware for its competitors. I’m tickled by how well it works and was put together (at this price point you’d expect it to blow up in your face). This coupled with Walmart’s 3yr warranty takes what’s already seen as a disposable item before 2yrs is up and truly delivers on its value. I bought this bc I travel and wanted a VR ready laptop for my oculus quest but wasn’t willing to spend >$1k for a laptop. If you check out its competitors from an internal specs perspective you’re looking at $400 below cost (not sure that model was still a 1for1 swap either). BTW… for all the people who talk about the THX sound not living up, it clearly tells you this is for headphones nit its internal speakers and for me, it clearly works great. I’ve never bothered with cheap tech before, I’m impressed. GET THE WARRANTY and your investment is safe.

Excellent gaming laptop with only one flaw. This is a great gaming laptop for the price!
    Pros:
    High quality build
144hz display looks incredible and very bright colors
Should be able to play the newest games for several years
    Cons:
The battery is terrible will only last about two hours on a full charge

Overall simply amazing. I will replace the battery with something better soon, otherwise I’m 100% happy with this purchase.

Video Editors, and Gamers Welcome! This laptop is worth every penny. Out of the box it’s plenty of storage and plenty of RAM. Using the money saved by not spending an extra $500 on a Lenovo or Dell, you can up the specs of this laptop to easily a $2000 laptop.
First, the 1660ti performs magnificently in this laptop. The fans kick on immediately when you launch a game, and they are no slouch, so headphones are nice, but the speakers are loud enough to compete. It’s not RTX, but the 17″ cousin of this laptop was just too large for me.
The 512GB of storage is only SSD speeds, not NVME, but there are a total of 3 storage slots in this laptop. 2 m.2 (one of which can handle SSD

Best value hands down. I have had mine for 2weeks now, bought solely for GAMING,works outstanding for league of legends, gonna see next if it works on my Oculus rift s. This laptop ( which I got around $850 then) is still a very good value at $1000. I can assure you the hardware works very well as assembled.

A BEAST of a Laptop, that needs a better battery. Was on the fence with a lot of different laptops during my search. I had never heard of EVOO, but did some research and I am not disappointed. Same as other reviewers, the battery does suck, but what it lacks in battery life, it makes up for in power. The 144hz screen, the keypad, the speed, the power this unit has when running AAA games is incredible. Setup took 10 minutes and in no time, I was slaying monsters in DOOM at ultra settings. Cannot wait to try this with my Oculus. Definitely made the right choice, and will be upgrading my battery shortly and adding an additional SSD. Overall. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE FOR THIS UNIT! Don’t overpay for brand names, look at the components inside, and make the right choice.

Unbeatable Value. In January 2020 I paid the Black Friday price of $799 for this laptop. The specs for the price seemed unrealistic so I was expecting a super-low build quality among other things. Needless to say that is not the case. The brushed aluminum top and soft-plastic interior really help it feel like a quality product, and the case is a solid build. Mine does seem to run quite hot, often reaching the maximum safe temp of about 99 degrees C which is a little worrisome, but the CPU/GPU do not throttle down drastically and it seems to do a good job of handling it, as is the nature of gaming laptops.

When I was considering a gaming laptop, I assumed I would end up with something in this price range with half the specs and a 60hz screen. I use high refresh rate screens for my desktop so the 144hz laptop screen is a breath of fresh air! Very bright and colorful. The speakers are horrible and horribly placed, but can still be heard over the very loud fans. I recommend headphones. Also the webcam is situated at the bottom of the screen bezel which I find to be awkward but I doubt I will ever use it.

Performance-wise, the i7 and 1660ti produce over 100fps on almost any game I’ve tried, with many exceeding the screens refresh rate of 144hz. Just don’t expect to play without having the AC adapter plugged in.

I have heard there is not much software support, but mine worked perfectly out of the box. All-in-all, if you are in the market for a gaming laptop and are knowledgeable enough to be comfortable with little manufacturer support, this is a no-brainer. Especially considering how expandable the storage and memory is, if you can snag one for the often-offered lowest price or so, it’s practically theft.
